These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sausage Guru mobile application and website (collectively, "Service") operated by Misha Enterprises Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Account Registration
Some features (Cloud tier) require account registration. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
3. Subscription Plans and Payments
3.1 Free Tier
The Free tier is available at no cost and allows storage of up to 2 recipes. No payment information is required.
3.2 Pro and Cloud Tiers
Paid subscription tiers are available via in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing will be displayed at the time of purchase within the App. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
3.3 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be directed to the respective platform. We do not process refunds directly.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all recipes, notes, and other content you create in the App ("Your Content"). By using the Cloud sync feature, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for any commercial purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
The Sausage Guru name, logo, app design, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Misha Enterprises Ltd. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Recipe calculations are provided as a convenience tool. You are solely responsible for verifying the safety and accuracy of any recipe, particularly those involving curing salts and food preservation techniques.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MISHA ENTERPRISES LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Food Safety Notice
Sausage Guru is a recipe management and calculation tool. It is your responsibility to ensure proper food safety practices, including but not limited to: correct use of curing salts, proper temperature control, and compliance with any applicable local food safety regulations. We are not liable for any illness, injury, or damage resulting from the use of recipes stored or calculated in the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
